Arlington Ink: 5 Year Anniversary

Do you remember my last blog post, about how when it rains it pours? Well, things just got worse. If I went into detail on it I would need to sit down and write a freaking book. It's that long of a story. But, I solved most of my stress and am actually a lot happier now! Which I am very thankful for.
Today, however, I really want to focus on a review of a certain tattoo shop! I was invited to their 5 year anniversary event via Facebook and decided I could not say no to discounted tattoos. (Who can???) While the wait was absurdly long I did understand why I had to wait for so long. There were tons of people there, so it made sense. Not that knowing that fact made the wait any less boring. However, once the artist finally called me back he quickly pulled up and sketched the tattoo I was wanting and got started. I will admit... I was somewhat nervous getting a tattoo at this event. They literally had hundreds of customers, so I knew that the artists would be pressed for time and I was worried that the quality of my tattoo would suffer because of the rush. I am very pleased to give my artist a wonderful review! Not only did he get everything set up in record time and quickly finish my tattoo, but he still managed to find the time to be a perfectionist with my tattoo. It came out looking amazing and I absolutely love it. I am very pleased with his work. If I can remember correctly he said his name was Nick, and the studio was Arlington Ink located on Abrams St. in Arlington, TX. I will totally be going to this studio in the future.
On more of a down note... I have kept this to myself and only told my immediate family about it. I did not want to have word spreading until I knew for sure whether or not it was a for sure thing. But due to some things that went on I visited my doctor who then referred me to get a mammogram. The doctor there found a small lump in my breast which was then biopsied to test for cancer. I can happily say that I do not have cancer! However, my doctor is having my consult with a breast surgeon about whether or not I should still have it removed just in case it should become cancerous. My appoint is this Tuesday (8-22-17) and I will be honest with you, I am nervous. I don't think the doctor will want to remove it, but let's be real, I'm not a doctor, so I can't say for sure what she will decide. I can't lie and say the idea of having surgery does not intimidate me. I have never been fond of hospitals and needles... But I will do whatever needs to be done. Which hopefully will be absolutely nothing. But I did want to let everyone know what was going on. Wish me luck everyone!
That's all I have for now. I am still working out some technical details of my Vlog before I get up and going on that. But I will keep everyone updated so you'll know the moment everything's ready to go!
