Grapevine Cafe

If you read my blog about my sisters and my last trip to South Padre Island you will have already heard about this wonderful place. This time, however, it is my friend Emily and I here! And we get to stay here for an entire week! We have been so excited for this trip it is not even funny. And of course I just had to bring her to the best place for coffee on the island... Grapevine Cafe!

Now, unlike last time there is now a Starbucks nearby, although not actually on the island itself. But I still wanted to come to the Grapevine Cafe because, in my opinion, I like it better than Starbucks... Never thought that would be possible. I freaking love Starbucks.

I also am happy that we came during the last week of Summer, because now I get to try their fall flavors!! This time I am trying their pumpkin pie latte.

 And it seriously tastes like liquid pumpkin pie. Creamy, heavenly, pumpkin pie. Emily is trying their Creme Caramel latte. 

It is a wonderful blend of cream and caramel that just coats your toung, yet it also has a distinct coffee flavor. Honestly, their coffee has no comparison. Sorry for the betrayal Starbucks.

Same as last time or service has been impeccable. We were seated quickly, received our coffee in under fives minutes, and also promptly received Emily's food. Our server, Jonathan, also regularly checked on us and also let us know about their current promotion. He was a very nice individual and easy to talk to.

I have loved this place since I first came with my sister and needless to say Emily is also impressed with this place that I never shut up about. And she already wants to come back again while we are staying on the island.
