Daily Life of a Teacher: 6-12-18

     Today's blog is going to be slightly different from the rest... Rather, it should be titled: Daily Life of a Clutz.

     Do not ask me how, I honestly do not know how I did it...  But let's just say Monday was worse than I originally thought.  Somehow throughout the course of the day I managed to sprain my left arm????? Honestly, I did not know that was even possible. But here we are.

     So I got to spend my day at the doctor's. My arm is now in a sling. And it hurts like no one's business.  Thankfully my dominant hand is my right hand, so I'm not completely helpless. But to add to all of this I woke up with a slight cold and twisted my ankle while walking my dog...  Apparently life has it out for me right now.

     Thankfully I am cleared to return to work as long as I use the sling and don't lift anything with my left arm. So glad my class is old enough to be independent without me having to pick them up. If they need some TLC I can just bend down to their level or sit with them.

     Seriously though... I did not lift anything with my arm yesterday, I do not know how I managed to sprain it... But I did.  

     That's all for today, I'm going to go crawl into a hole and surround myself with bubble wrap.
