The end of the school year is always such a busy time for any type of teacher. And besides being busy, my forgetful self decided to take a vacation to Galveston and then forget where I put my laptop charger when I returned and unpacked. Yup, that about sums me up...
This past week has been a bittersweet one though. I had to say goodbye to several students as they moved up to another class or moved to an entirely new school. While I will always be proud of their accomplishments, I am always sad to see them go.
Today in particular I was invited by a parent to come see their student dance in their recital. I did not want to miss out on the opportunity! Four of my students participate in dance class and I loved being able to cheer them on. They were so adorable in their costumes, and they did so well! I remember being that age and still having stage fright. I would have collapsed in tears if made to dance on a stage in front of an audience. But they all did wonderfully, I couldn't be more proud. And I am sure their dance instructors are equally proud.
That's all for now! I hope you all enjoy your weekend. Hopefully now that things have calmed down, and I found my charger, I will be able to return to a more regular schedule!
See You Next Time! Happy Reading!
